Allianz Cornhill has recorded a lower-than-expected personal lines gross written premium income in its results for quarter three, according to chief executive Andrew Torrance. At £215.3m, it was considerably lower than last year's total of £256.2m for the same period.
Torrance attributed half of the 20% fall in personal lines premiums to the retracting motor market.
