Jeremy Hyne (above) has been appointed head of underwriting at theSolicitors Indemnity Fund. Mr Hyne was previously director of
underwriting, commercial lines at London & Edinburgh. The Solicitors
Indemnity Fund will go into run-off in September 2000 and Mr Hyne will be
involved in preparing the business plan for the new managing general
agency (MGA) which will compete in the open market.
