Bob Parkins has been named managing director of the Jelf-owned broker network, the Purple Partnership. He had held a similar position with rival network Westinsure previously.
Parkins, 57, still has a financial interest in insurance broker PSP Insurance and Financial Solutions, and is set to cease being a Westinsure member on 31 December.
Launching on 1 January, the Purple Partnership will provide further competition for established networks such as Cobra, the Broker Network and Westinsure itself
