Churchill says Anglia acquisition is just the start.

Churchill Insurance has pledged to make further acquisitions in the
broker sector, following its acquisition of Ipswich-based Anglia
Countrywide last month.

John O'Roarke, deputy managing director at Churchill, said: "We see that
side of the business growing, as we believe that the current system which
we have in place would work equally well with a broker distribution
channel."

The purchase of Anglia is part of the company's new strategy to grow
through multiple distribution channels. Martin Long,
