Stovers, one of the Towergate companies, last month insured a smallmedicine cabinet for £160,000. This might seem an absurdly high sum,
however the cabinet is actually a work of art by Damien Hirst. The star of
the controversial Sensation exhibition presented the cabinet to his
dentist Dr Mullish, who is insured through Strovers. Orig-inally valued at
£6000, Dr Mull-ish decided to get it revalued after a similar cabinet
recently sold for £175,000 at Christies.
