The British Insurance Broker's Association is to propose to the regulator that the right of customers to know the commission their broker earns be incorporated in brokers' terms of business agreements.
In a recent speech, Financial Services Authority chief executive John Tiner said: "I am disappointed that more commercial customers are not demanding commission details as our rules enable them to do. Perhaps many such customers don't know this rule exists."
