Q: Following yet another merger between insurers, my directors and Ihave been asked to sign a new terms of business agreement. We are unhappy
with some of the clauses in this new TOBA. Should we sign this
agreement?
A: BIBA is in regular contact with senior managers of most of the leading
UK insurers. Among other items discussed would be their terms of business
agreement and, if the insurer intended to replace their TOBA, BIBA would
be happy to comment on the new wording.
