Well over half of the brokers and intermediaries taking part in theAssociation of British Insurer's Year 2000 compliance survey now believe
that they have done all they can to address the foreseen problems
associated with the Millennium Bug.
A total of 2293 brokers (63% of the database) have indicated that they
have reached the ABI's category one in that they have "eliminated the
risk" associated with Year 2000.
Just over 800 brokers are currently in category three - testing systems
and liaising
