Zurich Municipal is warning the problems of rising stress levels inschools.
The local authority insurer cited the recent case of a school in Wales
where a teacher was awarded an out-of-court settlement of £100,000 as
compensation for stress induced by work. It has suggested a series of
measures to help employers' and brokers alleviate the causes of stress,
including a sound risk assessment and stress management training for all
employees.
