Over the past few years, certain ULR companies have sought publicity
for themselves by stating that they are considering membership of MULRA,
the sole association seeking to raise professional standards within the
ULR sector.


To set the record straight, I would like to point out that with the single
exception of MLP Legal Protection Ltd (elected to membership last June),
no company has put itself up to the scrutiny of the MULRA Membership
