A total of 145 independent intermediaries have just days to complywith the Association of British Insurers' Code of Practice before all
their agencies with participating insurers are withdrawn.
Ray Stibbards, manager of PriceWaterhouseCoopers' third party monitoring
unit, told PB that 125 intermediaries have still not returned their review
forms - which assess basic compliance - mailed to them back in December
1996.
