Gloucester-based specialist insurer Ecclesiastical Insurance Group has developed a product for commercial enterprises that own heritage properties: Heritage Commercial.
Ecclesiastical claimed research shows that 72% of heritage properties do not have adequate sums insured. A sample of properties valued by Ecclesiastical showed that 55% of properties were undervalued by an average of £500,000.
