The Swinton Group has furthered its commercial presence with the purchase of Leeds-based Rockford Insurance Brokers, following its first acquisition of Vectis in May this year.
Reportedly bringing Swinton a gross written premium of £15m, the acquisition is the start of a drive that seeks to extend Swinton's gross premium income from commercial lines to £100m over the next two years.
Swinton's chief executive Patrick Smith said: "We want to have a more significant commercial presence in the market
