AIG Europe has opened a regional office in Newcastle. Stephen Brewis, regional manager for AIG Europe, said that the move showed the firm's commitment to the industry in the north-east of England. Mick Laws, a former president at Newcastle Insurance Institute, will head the branch, taking the role of business development director.
