Countrywide has launched a new commercial range to its members,underwritten by Fortis Insurance. The network intends to sign up
additional commercial insurers over the coming months. Simon Trott,
Countrywide's sales and marketing director, said: "As insurers rationalise
who they will do business with in future, undoubtedly they will reserve
the highest standards of service only for the chosen few. Within the first
two weeks of going live, 600 enquiries were received."
