The Financial Services Authority is set to review whether it should amend its current policy of commission by request and, instead, introduce the compulsory disclosure of commission for commercial customers.
Citing that, in practice, few customers request commission information, the FSA said it would review whether to make the situation binding on both intermediaries and insurance companies.
