Lloyd's has reported a pro forma annually accounted profit of £1892m in 2003, up 127% on 2002. It saw a further reduction in combined ratio to 90.7% from 98.6% in 2002 and a 49% increase in its central fund to £711m. Net resources of the society and members were up 35% to £10.1bn.
