Marcus Hearn has relaunched a new version of its scheduled airline
failure, following the 11 September attacks. The policy insures holders
against the cost of refunding tickets in the case of a scheduled airline
liquidation or bankruptcy. Jeffrey Klipp, managing director of Marcus
Hearn, said: "Taking out a policy of this nature is the most
straightforward way for an agent to comply with the Civil Aviation
Authority's stated requirements for protecting passengers in the event of
a failure."
