Seven year pitch

It has been seven years since Nick and Chris Giles took over the management of their father's business and their growth plans are right on target, finds Angela Faherty.

When Nick and Chris Giles took over the management of Giles Insurance
Brokers from their father in 1995, they had big plans for growth. The
company had four branches and 60 employees and was a relatively small,
family-owned and run business. Today, the company has 13 branches
throughout the UK and employs over 200 people.

Giles Insurance Brokers has a five-year business plan and hopes to have
offices in 20 locations by the end of its financial year in August
2005.
