The novelty of insurance roadshows is starting to wear a bit thin, but for the GISC's current round of consultation it is an appropriate choice.

We seem to be suffering roadshow mania at the moment. The Association
of Insurance Intermediaries and Brokers is back on the road after a summer
break, the Institute of Insurance Brokers is doing a solid week later this
month and, no sooner are they safely back at Higham Ferrers that the
General Insurance Standards Council ventures out.


Add to this the innumerable insurance company roadshows that there have
been this year.
