Specialist broker the Travel Protection Group is kicking off an acquisition spree by buying PJ Hayman & Company.
Travel insurance specialist broker PJ Hayman will retain its name in the deal, which should be completed in the next two to three weeks. The combined group will provide protection for over 2 million travellers in 2001 - about 10% of the UK travel insurance market, worth more than £38m in premiums.
David Hall, currently chairman of TPG, will become chairman of the combined group
