The Insurance Ombuds-man Bureau has made five appointments to supportprincipal ombudsman Tony Boorman, who took up this position at the end of
last year.
Peter Hart is appointed associate ombudsman, with Reidy Flynn, Steve
Lilley, Michael Lovegrove and Dorothy Rick-man all being made
ombudsmen.
The appointments are in response to the IOB's burgeoning case load, which
has risen by 65% in the last six months and is expected to increase
further once the European Convention of Human Rights becomes part
