Perkins Slade has acquired fellow Birmingham-based broker Stanford & Wood, including cash and shares, for an undisclosed sum.
S&W has a gross written premium of £6m and brings Perkins Slade's GWP to £50m. Sixty-five per cent of S&W's book is commercial, with clients including livery companies, predominantly based in the West Midlands and London. The broker is also said to have a strong high-net-worth book.
