The party season was in full swing last month, and was kicked offwith the Institute of Insurance Brokers awards ceremony in the Birmingham
Hilton. The wine flowed freely all night, particularly on table one where
the waiter's enthusiastic rearrangement of the wine bucket sent the
champers flying.
Graham Gomm, chairman of the Institute of Insurance Brokers, must have
managed to catch some in his glass, however, as he was spotted falling
backwards through a door not long afterwards.
