Folgate has called in its legal advisers DLA over the planned discontinuation by Zurich of commercial agency agreements with its 'hub and spoke' network of brokers from 1 September. The decision is due to a "lack of alignment between Zurich and Folgate's business models", according to David Smith, head of market management at Zurich.
The move is not expected to have a great impact on Folgate's recently acquired Hill House Hammond Business, as the Zurich account element is understood to be worth
