Mark Boleat, director general of the Association of British Insurers
since 1993, has announced that he will leave the Association next
year.


Mr Boleat said: "The ABI is one of the leading trade associations and it
has been a privilege for me to lead it during a very important period.


I shall be very sorry to leave the association after nearly six enjoyable
and rewarding years. However, I have now been running trade associations

Broking profits fall at Saga
