The jury at the Independent trial has found Michael Bright, Dennis Lomas and Philip Condon guilty of conspiracy to defraud after nearly 21 weeks of hearing evidence and deliberation.
The verdict, delivered over 22 and 23 October, saw Bright, 63, former chairman and managing director of Independent, sentenced to a total of 14 years for two counts of fraudulent trading, with both seven-year sentences to be served concurrently.
Lomas, 58, Independent's former finance director, was also found guilty
