Axa Art is cutting down its broker agencies, according to chief
executive Adam Golder.


Mr Golder said: "We will be writing to ask brokers how committed they are
to selling insurance for fine art and antiques. We are committed to broker
development and are therefore looking at fine tuning it.


"We are not setting minimum criteria but we are asking brokers whether
they want to focus on being specialists or not. We have been trading for
20 years and have a lot of brokers but some only bring one or two
