Independent intermediary Homeowners Friendly Society has launched an accident insurance policy for the over 50s.The Homeowners' Over 50s Accident Protection Policy offers lump sums of up to £6000, that double if the injury is caused in an assault. The policy is available to all UK residents up to the age of 85 and requires no medical report. Premiums are around £5 a month for a single policy holder and £9 for joint applicants.
