Online intermediary Rapidinsure has made most of its 17-strong teamredundant, and stopped taking on new business. The company is trying to
sign a new partner to secure funding for its future after a recent deal
fell through at the eleventh hour. It is not known whether the company
will remain in the same form or if the name or book of business will be
sold on. A spokesman claimed, however: "Rapidinsure will continue in one
form or another."
