Cornhill Insurance's results for the year 2000 show a significant increase in its overall operating loss - up to £31.4m compared to £0.8m in 1999.The group made a significant loss with its international business. However, the Direct Insurance Division made good progress and Allianz Cornhill Regional, which works with brokers outside London, produced an operating profit.
