The former management and senior staff of Robert Fleming InsuranceBrokers have reached an agreement, in principle, to acquire the
controlling interest of the company, currently held by Chase Manhattan
Corporation.
Completion of the transaction, which is subject to RFIB shareholder
approval, is expected in January 2001.
