Clinicare's holding company and underwriter, the French mutual
Strasbourgeoise, is to amalgamate with Group Azur. Members of
Strasbourgeoise voted unanimously for the merger at the company's June
AGM. If approved by the French equivalent of the FSA, the merger should be
completed by the end of the year. Derry Andrews, general manager of
Clinicare, said: "It ensures Clinicare and the other overseas subsidiaries
