The British Insurance Brokers' Association is concerned about new funding arrangements for the Financial Services Compensation Scheme. The Financial Services Authority confirmed future funding arrangements for the FSCS, which increases the level for general insurance intermediaries to £195m from 1 April 2008. Biba believes that this level is disproportionate by comparison to insurance company thresholds.
