Smart and Cook and Bland Bankart have lent their support to Acturis,an online broker system for commercial lines intermediaries.
Acturis, which originated from a project called Riskline, provides brokers
with a back office system and the ability to trade with insurers
online.
Its inventors claim it could double the profitability of the average
broker and reduce end-to-end costs in the industry by a third.
The system aims to offer 70 products at its launch, from commercial
combined to liabilities
