Ace Insurance has released what it claims to be an improved Elite directors' and officers' cover.

A significant amount of the condition precedence language has been dropped, while a number of traditional exclusions have been removed or diluted.

Simon Million, Ace's UK and Ireland D&O manager, said: "Up until 12 or 18 months ago, standard D&O cover had exclusions for pollution and bodily injury claims; now Ace is offering a full limit of policy cover for non-indemnifiable losses."
