The news that Broker Network has received a takeover offer from Towergate was met with caution by the network's members.
Roger Christmas, joint managing director at Burgess Hill-based Christmas Insurance Brokers, said he was keeping an open mind and added: "We want to wait until we know how the deal has been structured before making any decisions."
George Williams, director at George Williams Insurance Services, said that the move could be a positive one, "provided (Towergate) keeps its promises"
