The British Insurance Brokers' Association has launched a new schemefor brokers to sell.
Underwritten by Letsure, BIBALet covers landlords of rented flats, holiday
homes and other buildings. The insurance covers owners of flats who fail
to find tenants for six months, as well as landlords whose tenants fail to
pay their rent.
The details of the policy are being finalised but brokers can expect a
'healthy' rate of commission according to Shane Worrall, Letsure's project
development manager.
