Overheard of the month has to go to Ian Richens, chief executive ofFM Green. At the Post Magazine/Lloyd's round table discussion in Cardiff,
Mr Richens described how hard market conditions have forced him to journey
to London every week, "prostituting himself" to Lloyd's syndicate
underwriters.
"Not literally," he added, when his confession was met with widespread
guffaws. "Just as well," responded Stuart Love, managing director of
broker Thomas Carroll. "You wouldn't make much money."
