Chris Blackham, set to be chairman of the Axa-owndedLayton Blackham and Stuart Alexander, has consolidated Layton Blackham's Elite Underwriting Services into one main commercial facility.
Following a tender to market, Norwich Union will become the lead insurer with over 40% of the underwriting capacity.
Axa and Allianz Cornhill are also on the panel with another leading "top 6" insurer set to be announced shortly to cover over £30m of gross written premium placed from a "group of 127 brokers
