Bupa has acquired £3m of group risk business from insurer Generali. The Generali portfolio includes 250 small group life and income protection schemes, covering around 30 000 people.
The growth of Bupa's group risk portfolio means the insurer is able to cut premiums by 10% on its group life schemes.
