Outsourcing in insurance is booming at the moment and at the forefront of the growth is Eastgate. Shona Cronin spoke to Eastgate director Max Carruthers about the purchase of Hambro and his role in driving the company forward.

Eastgate's expansion into the assistance market with the purchase of
Hambro Assistance will have taken many of its competitors by surprise.


However, this acquisition is just one of several strategic developments at
Eastgate over the last few months - and the company is set to make several
more this year.
