ACE Engineering Insurance has devised a risk management package tohelp clients comply with two new pieces of health and safety
legislation.
The Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 (PUWER 98) and
the Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998 (LOLER) came into force on 5
December, and are designed to ensure that work and lifting equipment
should not give rise to health and safety risks, regardless of its age,
condition and origin.
ACE has interpreted the regulations and devised a full risk
