Groupama Insurance has unveiled a new strategy for its provincial
commercial lines business, which will involve building stronger
relationships with brokers, rather than insisting upon minimum support
levels.


The strategy is part of a move to broaden the insurer's appeal to brokers
who have not previously transacted significant amounts of business with
Groupama. However, the insurer stressed that its agency strategy will
remain highly selective. Groupama is also creating a flexible benefits
packages
