Underwriting group Towergate has acquired the business portfolios ofThor Underwriting, Mason & Mason Insurance Brokers and the UK divisional
business of Byas Mosley Group.
The acquisition of the Thor book follows closely on the heels of the
underwriting agency being put into the hands of the receiver after losing
underwriting support from Lexington Insurance, Norwich Union and Inter
Hannover.
Towergate will now take on the City-based firm's portfolio of combined
liability, professional indemnity
