The Association of British Insurers has warned there will be no'quick fix' to the current crisis in the liability insurance market,
despite signs that the government is now taking the issue more
seriously.
The ABI welcomed the Chancellor of the Exchequer's recent comments at the
Confederation of British Industry's annual conference. Gordon Brown
stated: "We will be trying to increase the flexibility of the work permit
system and will also be examining one grievance raised with me - the
rising cost
