Amanda Blanc, chief executive of the broking division at the Towergate Partnership, has begun to make her mark on the insurance giant by creating a 'sales and service' operation for its niche risks.
The new operation will include servicing around £150m of gross written premium for Towergate's niche covers, such as professional risks, caravans, military personal cover, road haulage, doctors, dentists and alternative therapists.
Blanc told Professional Broking: "We are leaders in each of these areas
