QBE has announced it is restructuring its Lloyd's market interests. The insurer, which acquired Limit earlier this year, wants to create a more cohesive presence at Lloyd's. Subject to approval, the management of syndicate 2999 and its sub-syndicates will transfer from QBE Underwriting Agency to Limit Underwriting around 1 November.
QBE intends to combine syndicate 2999 (and its sub-syndicates) and syndicate 79 into two divisions for the 2001 underwriting year of account. Mark Harrington
