Sixteen insurance companies have agreed to sign up to the British
Insurance Brokers' Association's new set of service standards.


The agreement covers the whole range of commercial lines insurance,
including providing minimum notice for renewals. BIBA is now meeting with
the Association of British Insurers to discuss the ABI's proposed code of
practice on minimum renewal notice periods.
