Private medical insurance brokers can look forward to increased commission, after Standard Life Healthcare announced a 2.5% increase in its renewal rate for company community rated and low claims frequency business.The new commission rate of 7.5% will take effect for company schemes renewing on or after 16 July 2002.
SLH has also introduced a number of new 0845 local call numbers, designed to cut the cost for intermediaries and their customers contacting the company.
